The Shamrocks: New for 2010!
Our newest program for campers ten and older. While we're always having fun
playing sports and games, a number of our Clover Sports "veterans" have
expressed interest in activities we just can't provide on site.
Our solution... The Shamrock Club.
With enrollment, your camper will have the option of choosing two "off campus" Shamrock days during each week of enrollment. The Shamrock days will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Participants will choose either the Tuesday or Wednesday activity and all Shamrock participants will join Thursday activities. The Shamrock program will commence during the second week of camp with our first outing scheduled for Tuesday, June 15.
The fun and activities…
Golf will become a once weekly activity offered either Tuesday or Wednesday
with a group of aspiring US Open champions travelling to one of the local
community golf courses for a round of golf with one of the Clover coaches
supervising each playing group. Additional activities scheduled for Tuesdays
and Wednesdays will include bowling, beach day, fishing, cross-country biking,
tennis, miniature golf, baseball training to name a few (and we're always
seeking suggestions!!!)... "Trek-Thursday" will be offered -- a
team of Clover coaches and campers will take an extended adventure and explore
some of the local nature spots along the Monterey Peninsula with all the
Shamrock participants.
Here's the plan.... Sign up for a week of Clover Sports camp and we'll provide you a list of scheduled Shamrock events -- pick your two activities -- and let's go!!!
Transportation to and from activities will be provided by senior coaches of Clover Sports. Coaching and supervision will be provided during all Shamrock activities.
Mom and Dad... The Shamrock Club enrollment will be the same as Clover Sports Summer Camp with an additional $30 per week to cover costs and expenses of conducting off campus activities. Please note that a special parental release form must be signed for your camper to participate. The Shamrock program will be limited in size, so sign up early.
